From the toll booth, walk to the restrooms in the mansion then start a relatively flat loop through woods, around fields, along a stream and back to the pond. Various flora will be pointed out as will signs of (or actual) animals. After the walk you can visit the exhibits on the first floor of the mansion. Bring a beverage. Rain cancels.
