If we stop on a beach (we usually do!), explore for shells, seaweeds, and other water items. Must wear a floatation device while in your boat. Bring a beverage and sun protection. Any rain or wind over 17 mph cancel. Rental: try Eric at East End Explorer (631-353-5552). No restroom facilities. Park at the end of Barkers Island Road by going straight ahead where Barkers Island Rd. makes a sharp right.
