Call at least a day ahead. This fairly wide river is subject to strong winds. The river passes by Bayard Cutting Arboretum, protected lands and various small to mansion sized homes. A section of the paddle is in narrow man-made canals. Hear about the birds and the dammed waters at Bayard Cutting Arboretum. Closest restrooms at the Timber Point golf course – leave an extra 5 to 6 minutes. Bring a beverage and sun protection. A personal flotation device must be worn when in your boat.
