This is a beautiful preserve with a large pond and many streams. Our path through the woods will be 3 leisurely miles or so on rooted hilly paths and will incorporate parts of various trails. Parking is limited (about 25 parking spaces) so attendance is limited. Parking fee. Address: 581 W Jericho Tpke, Smithtown, NY. Directions: Any major highway to Sunken Meadow Pkwy, north to Jericho Tpke east (about 3 miles) to Caleb Smith Park on the north side of the road. Bring water. Rain cancels. We will meet in the main house in view of parking lot.
