Take a walk around the Old Ice Pond in Quogue Wildlife Refuge and spot some wildlife; an easy walk for all ages. From NY 27 Exit 63, go south on C.R. 31 to Montauk Hwy. Turn left and continue to an angled left turn onto South Country Road. Follow road to its end, turn left and the refuge is across the LIRR track. (If you miss the turn of South Country, continue on Montauk to Meetinghouse Road, turn left and you’ll get there!)
