Bethpage Autumn BBQ & Founder’s Day

Kickoff the fall hiking season with Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference!  Do a trail beautification project, meet and thank those who had the vision to make our trails possible; eat and socialize with other trail huggers, learn trail history, and play trivia.

Event schedule: 
8:30am | 10 mile hike
9:30am  | Trail project (remove invasive species) with Jim Van Tassell
10am | 5 mile hike
10:45am | 3 mile hike
1pm | BBQ Lunch (Culinary delights for vegetarians & carnivores)
2pm | 4 mile BONUS hike

Hikes of 3, 5, & 10 miles scheduled to return for the BBQ/social.   
New this year: BONUS walk-off-the-food hike after the BBQ!

Bring family and friends to this annual event. LI Greenbelt Trail Conference members and newcomers all welcome!

Cost:
Members of LIGTC*: Adults $20, Children 6-18 yrs $15/pp, under 6 yrs Free
Non-Members & Guests: Adults $25, Children 6-18 yrs $20/pp, under 6 yrs Free

*A LIGTC member is defined as one who has paid dues to the LIGTC and whose status is current. LIGTC members may reserve a place for family members at member prices. Those that only participate in our programs through MeetUp must pay non-member prices. You may join the LIGTC, before the event, to receive our member discounts on this and other upcoming member events.
