This 550-acre plot of fields, woodlands, ponds and estate grounds is Nassau County's largest nature preserves. Visit the ruins of the King Zog mansion’s grounds and see what it looked like just ten years ago. Mention will be made of the many native and non-native plants on the grounds. If it recently rained, the ground will be wet and slippery. Meet at the Bill Patterson Nature Center at the north end of the park at the end of Muttontown LANE off route 25A in E. Norwich. The nature center bathroom is only sometimes open. Address: 38 Muttontown LANE 11732. Any rain cancels this event.
