This hike will take the Blue Trail along the west side of the park and then continue on the L.I. Greenbelt Trail into the southern portion of Caleb Smith State Park. Bring water and tick/insect protection; rain cancels; text me to let me know you are planning to join the hike to receive updates or cancelation info; meet at the south entrance of Blydenburgh County Park, opposite Suffolk County offices along Veterans Memorial Highway (SR 454), no restrooms; park in the lot to the immediate right as you pass the entrance booth; no parking fee.
