Explore the scenic section of the Greenbelt trail between the Smithtown Landing Golf Course and the main building on the circle at the Kings Park Center. Stop now and then to learn about the plants and animals we encounter. The trail transverses rolling hills (some a bit steep) along the Nissequogue River in Kunz Park which provides great views, a short roadway section with houses along the river in San Remo, and a turn-around at the circle in the Kings Park State Park. If you like moderately steep hills, you’re sure to enjoy this hike and learning about nature. Meet at the farthest end of the parking lot of the Smithtown Landing Golf Course off Landing Avenue.
