This DEC site is184 acres of mixed wooded and open habitats… marked trails… 81 acres of reverting farm fields, 85 acres of forest, and 4 acres of fishable ponds.” We walk a loop around it looking for animals and their tracks and point out some native and non-native plants. Restrooms usually open. Beverage suggested. Rain cancels. Randall Road is about ¼ mile West of William Floyd Parkway (CR 46) along Rt. 25. Address: 484 Randall Road, Ridge. The entrance is about 300' north of Middle Country Road (rte. 25) on the west (left) side. Hike end time is approximate.
