Let’s take a nice 6 miles around both sides of Hempstead Lake State Park. Beautiful lake views and great conversation awaits. We will walk around Hempstead Lake cross the over pass and walk the bridal path. Optional drop out after the first loop.

Meet at the Hempstead Lake State Park Environmental Education Nature Center at 9:50 for a prompt 10:00am. Bring water and a snack. Please watch the weather for what to wear. Hiking shoes or boots are recommended. Heavy rain cancels.

Parking fee is $10 or use the Empire Pass, available at most libraries for check out. Southern State Parkway to exit 18-Eagle Avenue. Lake Dr. to the main parking lot.
