Meet by the Bill Paterson Nature Center (entrance by Locust Lane). Join us on a hike around the grounds of the Chelsea Estate and former Winthrop Mansion. We will hike through Nassau County’s largest preserve and see some of the old ruins of the previous owners. Trails can be uneven and tight in some areas, appropriate clothing is advised. Bring plenty of water and some snacks! There is also one road crossing midway to two thirds into the hike. Heavy rain cancels. If unsure, please contact me in the morning of the hike.
