Walking along the beach you will be encouraged to pick up, inspect and ask about things of interest including shells, crab shells, live crabs (if we find any), sea weeds, garbage, etc. then discuss their place in the coastal ecosystem. At the end of the peninsula, see and hear about the cottage on the channel. The return is along a paved road with views of the marsh. Before finishing the walk, see the rapidly running artesian well that many locals use for their water supply. Bring a beverage or wait to taste the water.
