This is a beautiful preserve with a large pond and many streams. Our path through the woods will be 3 leisurely miles or so on rooted, hilly paths and will incorporate parts of various trails. Parking is limited (about 25 parking spaces). Parking fee. From Sunken Meadow Pkwy. Exit SM3E, go east about 3 miles entrance on the north side of the road. From the east, take NY 25 through Smithtown to park on right. Bring water. Rain cancels. We will meet at the main house in view of parking lot.
